In 1818, Phoebe Pyburn, widow of Jeptha Turvin is granted land in West Florida, to raise cattle with her brother Santiago. In the Spanish territory, I have seen the name James used as an alternative for Santiago, and vice versa. This may mean she has a brother James Pyburn. The claim is also in the American State Papers, Vol. 4.
